Allana Ferguson bio

Allana first represented Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Following multiple knee injuries over many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana had her first ever union rugby game for women that was played with New South Wales in 2013 and she stood out in the game against Queensland. Allana is also adding radio to her repertoire making regular appearances with the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana has also earned a teaching qualification. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of playing for Australia in three sports - rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos' rugby star and fourth-time ACL tearr has ended her football career. She had torn the ligament in the same knee between was 15 17 and 20-years-old and following a 4th tear, this meant that Ferguson's playing time was up. Ferguson, JILLAROOS's playmaker had to retire before the end of the season due to a 4th tear to the ACL of her left. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training in November. She has been a player in the women's rugby league over the course of several seasons.
